Clocky - the runaway alarm clock.

Comments

There is another company that is marketing one that is a battery powered helicopter. It launches when the alarm goes off and you have to catch it to turn it off. I saw that one listed on the web a few months ago.
Thats interesting too but I know I'd have a bad day if the first thing I had to do was jump up to catch the darned clock....

I like this idea... i've followed gizmodo for years and they've posted many different types of crazy alarm clocks. from bed shakers to puzzles you have to put together... waking up and the snooze button is definitely a problem. i remember one clock that would shoot a spinning disk when it went off, the only way to shut the clock off was to find the disk and put it back on (or throw the clock against the wall)

this one is a lot more fun!

(working for yourself does allow for your own schedule... it's been a year now and i love every minute of it, even at 3am when i'm still up)

wow. didn't even know there were this many related clocks based on the idea! As for the working at home or for yourself.. yeah. I'm sure its great, maybe someday....

you only need like three more extended istock licenses before you retire, right?! ;)
i just checked out your website, you live in pasadena? i live in crofton... weird!
wow that's cool! Small world! As for the extended licenses.. :-P I wish.

This is a good idea - I do have to wonder how annoyed I'd get chasing a rolling clock around my room, though.
but you'd be awake, right?
Mostly, I figure I'd chase it around for one day, then step on it.
Though, it does seem like a funny toy to let my cat chase around.

My sister needs one of these. She uses 3 different alarms, which (last time I stayed at her place) start going off in shifts about 1 hour before she actually drags her butt out of bed. Oh, yeah, I know what SHE's getting for christmas...

*evil laugh*

Thats hilarious. Mostly because its what my wife AND I did this morning -- yes, for about an hour. We have 2 clocks and we took turns "snoozing" our own clocks.. rofl.
